Click “Additional Information” ➚ for the lawn care schedule,

We use this website to size yards: measuremylawn.com. If you need help contact us and we’ll let you know your yard size. We may have to adjust the subscription price when we get there and assess.

If you choose a lawn care subscription with paid monthly, please do not put the account on hold during the winter, or cancel and renew in the spring, because the pricing is structured for the year and we want long-term customers. And there is some lawn care to do in the colder months.

For more information on snow removal, see this page, but that page is only for purchase without lawn care.

When choosing lawn size, include areas to shovel/plow if we’re removing snow.

Need a new lawn? Want a garden bed installed? You may want to order a Sustainable Landscaping Consultation.

Additional information

April

Parker comes to meet you on the first visit if you're available to fo over everything. We check the lawn, go over any other areas of interest, look for troubled areas, and and male plans as need be. If you're interested in gardening services, Parker will price these out for you and get started in those tasks if appropriate. The first visit will be by late March, maybe early April, depending on the weather, when the consultation happens, we will cut the grass, and we will clean up and move all branches, sticks, twigs, acorns and/or pine cones from the grass. We may rake, we may use a leaf blower.

May

We are assessing the subscription price based on the work we've done and how the yard is looking vs. customer expectations, to have a realistic price for year-round service. And we're starting or expanding the additional services, services such as weeding, gardening, mulch, etc. which will continue throughout the season as requested and needed.

June, July, August

We're weeding and especially looking for broadleaf weeds, we're mowing as often as requested, and we're watering if requested (using your plumbing).

But we may skip weeks for mowing if that's what's best for the lawn.

September and October

We will do some seeding and fertilizer in spots that need it. This is included with the lawn care subscription, unless unwarranted. This is also the time to consider over-seeding, dethatching, and aerating, as well as more intense fertilization.

Our last cut will be late September or October, depending on the weather and your lawn condition (and desired lawn condition)

November, December

If we didn't just finish lawn cleanup, we're doing it now. If you have snow removal service, we'll be putting markers up for snow plowing and there may be some lawn care still to do. We also fertilize the entire lawn with compost and/or worm castings. If the lawn has a few spots that need some grass seed we will put down grass seed.

January, February, March

Depending on the weather, and your foliage, there's usually a cleanup or two we can do around this time. We also fertilize the entire lawn with compost and/or worm castings in march. If you've subscribed to snow removal, we're ready!
