We are happy to do some of your grocery shopping for you! Like the CSA box, these items arrive in a reusable box at your door, delivered on Saturdays.

We aren’t very good at shopping, except when it comes to food! When you place your order we shop for you like we shop for us. We focus on health, locally sourced, and sustainability when we shop. This is a dynamic model, things will change, some flexibility is required.

You can order one box or subscribe, and you can cancel anytime.

All mushrooms are fresh, sourced from The Mush Hub. Let us know if you want another variety or dried.

Eggs are from small local farms, including ours. Cheese is from Oliver Farms. We have more cheese varieties coming, all raw.

We’ve got a bread guy. He makes the most sensational bread. He’s been baking out of his house for years. He’s about to step it up, get legal, and start doing some serious business, but he’s keeping that homegrown, small-batch quality consistent. When/if his bread is unavailable we buy from small local vendors at Eastern Market.

Description

You select what you want and then we go to find the best quality, locally produced food for you! This system is dynamic,  with supply chain issues, seasonal availability, and prices fluctuations.

First, we look for no-spray, hyper-local, small farm-grown foods. We taste foods and we ask a lot of questions. We know and we love our farmers, but if a local item is not available due to inflation, seasonal, or supply-chain issues, as a last resort, we will purchase from Meijer if available. If not, we’ll refund or contact the customer to ask about a substitution.

We will never knowingly purchase irradiated foods, GMO foods, or foods known to have been treated with herbicides or other chemicals in order to shorten harvest times.
