Fiber Clamshell Containers are eco-friendly compostable fiber clamshells are made from bagasse, which is a byproduct of sugarcane. When a sugarcane stalk is pressed and extracted the leftover material is called bagasse, a material that was once not utilized has now found a new purpose. Our clamshells are offered in both natural kraft and white. The white bagasse undergoes a washing process. We provide options in both medium weight and heavy weight taking in consideration your application and budget. These clamshells are freezer safe, microwave safe, and will commercially compost within 90-120 days.
